Randy Lee Walker, Sr. Obituary Randy Lee Walker, Sr., age 61, of Hominy, Oklahoma passed away on Thursday, September 18, 2014 at his residence. Randy was born August 3, 1953 in Hominy, Oklahoma, the son of Theodore Rosevelt and Geneva Juanita (Lopez) Walker. Randy graduated Hominy High School in 1972 and attended Crowley County Community College in Arkansas City, Kansas where he played on the football team. Later in life he worked for the City of Hominy in various positions for many years and was a member of the Mount Pilgrim Baptist Church. Randy is survived by his wife, Brinda Diane Evans Walker of Tulsa, Oklahoma; five children: Randy Lee Gay of Tulsa, Oklahoma, Tasha Summer Terry of Eldon, Missouri, Ashley Marie Walker of Hominy, Oklahoma, Randy Lee Walker, Jr. of Hominy, Oklahoma, and Jacob Wade Walker and wife Ashley of Hominy, Oklahoma; eight brothers: Theodore R. Walker, Jr. and wife Carol of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, Ronny Gene Walker of Tulsa, Oklahoma, Jackie Wade Walker of Hominy, Oklahoma, Burney "George" Walker of Hominy, Oklahoma, Bobby Mark Walker and wife Dee of Beloit, Kansas, Carl Dean Walker of Hominy, Oklahoma, Isaac Burt Walker and Christopher Franklin Walker of Wichita Falls, Texas; two sisters: Lois Dean Walker of Tulsa, Oklahoma and Shirley Marie Hudson and husband Frank of Hominy, Oklahoma; his companion of many years, Rose Marie Leger of the home; one step-daughter, Jennifer Michelle Dailey of Cleveland, Oklahoma; seven grandchildren and numerous nieces, nephews and other relatives. He was preceded in death by his parents and one brother, Jerry Ellis Walker. Randy's funeral services were held at the First Baptist Church of Hominy on Tuesday, September 23, 2014 at 10:00 a.m. with Pastor Kenny Christian officiating. Sharon Lowe Pianist- Prelude and Postlude. Special music: "Beulah Land" sung by Frank Hudson, (Acapella). Pall Bearers were Bobby Walker Jr., Chris Walker, Randy Walker, Jacob Walker, Ricky Butler, Randy Gay and honorary pall bearers, Theodore, Ronny, Jackie, Burney, Bobby, Carl, Isaac, Christopher, Aaron Crawford and Frank Hudson. Burial followed at the Albert J. Powell Memorial Cemetery in Hominy. Visitation was 11:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. on Monday, September 22, 2014 at Powell Funeral Home in Hominy, Oklahoma.
