Richard Donald Wilson

Richard Donald Wilson, 73 years, passed away peacefully in his sleep at his residence in Hominy, Oklahoma on Thursday, March 22, 2018. He was a lifetime Hominy resident.

Richard, an Osage tribal member, was born in Hominy on May 08, 1944 to Charles Harry and Ruby Mae (Webb) Wilson. He attended Ponca City Military School and was drafted in 1962 into the US Army to serve in the Vietnam War until 1967. Richard worked as a welder in Mannford, Oklahoma.

Richard is survived by: his brother, John Paul Wilson and his wife, Vonnie, of Hominy, OK; his sister, Christine Wilson James, of Atlanta, GA; 2 nephews: Charles Wilson and his wife, Buffy, of Skiatook, OK, Thomas James of San Diego, CA; 4 nieces: Cynthia Wilson of Tulsa, OK, Cecelia Watts and her husband, Walter, of Tulsa, OK, Elizabeth Kesseler of Skiatook, OK, Rhonda Carter and her husband, Mike, of Atlanta, GA; and many great and great-great nieces and nephews.

Richard is preceded in death by: his parents; his grandparents: Allen Webb and Elda West; his brother, Charles Harry Wilson, Jr.; and his sister, Mary Katherine Wilson.

Memorial services at 10:30 AM, Saturday, April 7, 2018 at the Webb Family Cemetery south of Hominy.
