Roger Glenn Black, 47 years, of Hominy, Oklahoma, passed away on Tuesday, January 2, 2018 at his residence in Hominy.

Roger was born in Wellington, Texas to Roger Norman and Barbara Lynn (Livingston) Black. He played Santa Claus at Christmas time for many years at the Eastland Mall in Tulsa, Oklahoma. He was a real movie buff and collected many movies and TV series on DVD. Roger really enjoyed playing Xbox with his cousins, was a member of Calvary Worship Center and loved to be around his family and friends when he could. However, he especially "loved to chase ducks in the park."

Roger is survived by: his sister, Joy Horton and her husband, Danny, Jr., of Hominy, OK; his brother, Kevin Avey and his wife, Katelyn, of Skiatook, OK and numerous, nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.

Roger is preceded in death by: his parents, his brother, Elmer Patrick Black and his 2 grandmothers: Joy Black and Lily Livingston.

The memorial service will be held 1:00 PM, Thursday, January 11, 2018 at the Church of Nazarene in Hominy with the Pastor Carl Brown officiating.
