Rosemary Anne Reed, longtime resident of Hominy, OK passed from this life on Thursday March 27, 2025, at her residence in Hominy. She was 72 years of age. Rosemary was born on October 10, 1952, in Towanda, Pennsylvania to Dominic Charles and Pauline (Adamovich) Kelly. She was raised and received her education there. She later moved to New York where she met Robert Fata. They were united in marriage and had two daughters, Vanessa and Gina. Rosemary and the girls later moved to Henderson, Nevada, where she met and married Donald Cookson.
Rosemary and Donald moved to Hominy, OK, in 1981. It was there that she met Ronald Leroy Reed, with whom she found love and companionship. They married on October 9, 1990, in Miami, OK, and together welcomed their son, Ryan. Rosemary and Ronnie built a life in Hominy, where they enjoyed road trips, spending time with family, and cherished days at their lake lot on Hominy Lake. Rosemary was the property manager for Parkview Manor apartments for many years, and in her free time, she found joy in bowling, arts and crafts, and treasure hunting at thrift stores. She never met a stranger and loved connecting with those around her. Ronnie preceded her in death on August 13, 2024, but the life they built together will always be a beloved chapter in her story.
Those that survive and hold many cherished memories include her children - Vanessa (Steve) Kraut of Phoenix, Az, Gina Fata also of Phoenix; her son Ryan (Kelbie) Reed of Cleveland, OK and her grandchildren: Brenden, Brice, Sabrina, Tyler, Zachary, Ellie, Jace, Janessa, Jake, Raygan, and three great grandchildren. Besides her husband Ronnie, Rosemary was preceded in death by her parents and a brother Jerry Kelly.
