Samuel D. Mcwhirt Sr.

Samuel (Sam) David McWhirt Sr., 93 years, of Wynona, Oklahoma, passed away on Wednesday, May 15, 2019 at Pawhuska Hospital in Pawhuska, Oklahoma. 

Sam was born in Hominy, Oklahoma on November 10, 1925 to Harry and Ruth McWhirt. He graduated from Mound Valley, near Hominy. Sam then worked as a diesel mechanic for many years.

Samuel is survived by: children, Linda Sanders of Pawnee, Oklahoma; David McWhirt of Mannford, Oklahoma; Armida Henley of Wynona, Oklahoma; Ricardo Martinez of Indiana; Patty McMorrow of Fredericksburg, Virginia; Salvador Martinez of Collinsville, Oklahoma; Monica Todd of Idaho, Samuel McWhirt Jr of Cleveland, Oklahoma; Michael McWhirt of Tulsa, Oklahoma; sister, Jane Clark of Bartlesville, Oklahoma; brother, Jack McWhirt of Bartlesville, Oklahoma.

Samuel is preceded in death by: Danny McWhirt; sister, Star Creek.
