Sheryl Lee Savage Sheryl Lee "Bug" Savage passed away at her home in Tulsa, Oklahoma on September 9, 2015. She was the daughter of the late Dr. J.D. and Jody (Alexander) Savage of Hominy, Oklahoma. Sheryl was born in Tulsa on June 19, 1959 and spent her entire childhood in Hominy. She was a 1977 graduate of Hominy High School, where she was a member of the basketball and track teams and was a cheerleader. Sheryl is survived by her three sisters: Sue Hall and her husband, Chuck Hall of Pershing, OK; Kathy Buxton and her husband, Bill Buxton of Hominy, OK; and Linda Hale and her husband, Jim Hale of Hominy, OK; and her brother Jim Savage and his wife Jackie Savage of Medford, OR. Her nieces and nephews were a special joy in her life: Daniel Baker of Norman, OK; Leah Mansfield of Broken Arrow, OK; Kami Green of Mounds, OK; Kari Barr of Raleigh, NC; Josh Baker of Pittsburgh, PA; Cody Baker of Lexington, KY; Trey Hall of Pershing, OK; Anna Savage of Los Angeles, CA; and Nathaniel, Dominic and Vincent Savage of Medford, OR. She will be greatly missed by her family and by her many, many friends. There will be a private family service held at a later date. Powell Funeral Home has been entrusted with the arrangements.
