Shirley Ann Watts

Shirley Ann (Rutherford) Watts, 78 years, of Pawhuska, Oklahoma passed away on Thursday, April 1, 2021 at Pawhuska Hospital.

Shirley was born on December 5, 1942 in Oklahoma to parents John Wesley and Cora (Roe) Rutherford. She was raised and educated in Wynona, she graduated in 1961.

Shirley married Jack Martin Watts on July 6, 1963 in Hominy, Oklahoma. Together they made their home in Hominy, then Wynona and later settled in Pawhuska. She worked for the Osage County Nutrition as an outreach worker for 17 years before retiring.

Shirley is survived by: husband, Jack Watts of Pawhuska; sister-in-laws, Ruth Watts and Linda Pope; nieces, Cheryl Gordon and husband Lynn, Cindy Matlock and husband Johnny; cousin, Sherry Hawk.

Shirley is preceded in death by: parents, John Wesley and Cora Rutherford; sister, Thelma Simpson and husband Jimmy Simpson.
