Theodore Rusty Roosevelt Walker Obituary Theodore Rusty Walker, 93 of Hominy, Oklahoma passed away September 28, 2008 at Pawhuska, Oklahoma. He was born on November 30, 1914 to Isaac and Fannie (Mayfield) Walker in Fort Gibson, Oklahoma. Rusty married Geneva Lopez on July 27, 1940; Geneva preceded him in death on November 3, 1996. Rusty worked for the City of Hominy as an auto mechanic. He was a longtime Hominy resident. He umpired little league baseball for many years and he loved to fish. He is survived by two daughters- Lois Walker of Tulsa, Oklahoma and Shirley Hudson of Hominy; nine sons- Theodore Walker Jr. of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, Ronnie Walker of Tulsa, Oklahoma, Burney Walker of Hominy, Jackie Walker of Minnesota, Bobby Walker of Wisconsin, Carl Walker, Randy Walker, Isaac Walker all of Hominy, and Christopher Walker of Wichita Falls, Texas; twenty-seven grandchildren; forty-one great grandchildren, ten great, great grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews. His parents, wife, one son- Jerry; one grandson; one great grandson and one brother- Robert preceded him in death. Service for Rusty was Friday, October 3, 2008 at 11:00 a.m. at the A.J. Powell Cemetery Pavilion with Rev. Rubin Conley officiating. Vocalists were John Crawford and Doris Jackson. Casket bearers were James Crawford, Melvin Crawford, Ricky Butler, Lewis Sparks, Redman Patterson and Kevin Sparks. Honorary casket bearers were Aaron Crawford, Earnest Crawford, Chris Holding and Che Che Sparks. The family entrusted Powell Funeral Home with the arrangements.
