Tonya Noel Lewis

Tonya Noel Lewis was born July 10, 1976, in Hominy, Oklahoma to Marvell Caldwell and Leoma Avon Sparks. She was raised in Hominy and completed school here. She graduated from Hominy High School in 1994.

Tonya grew up in a sibling group of eight. She had four brothers and three sisters. Tonya loved being with her family, she never wanted to get too far from home. What a laugh she had; it was contagious.

Tonya loved Jesus as her Lord and Savior; she was a faithful member of Calvary Worship Center. She loved to sing and listen to Christian Worship music. She loved to talk about Jesus.

Tonya was an amazing human being and everyone who knew her was changed by being around her. Tonya passed from this life on June 28, 2023, at Cleveland area hospital in Cleveland, Oklahoma.

She is survived by her mom Leoma Sparks, her ex-husband Kenny Jones; her siblings Charles McNeil, Danny Sparks, Damon Sparks, Victoria Johnston, Rashida Caldwell and Rabetta Finley; Numerous nieces and nephews.

Tonya’s funeral service will be 10:00am, Friday, July 7, 2023, at Powell Funeral Service in Hominy, Oklahoma. Arrangements have been made by Powell Funeral Service in Hominy, Oklahoma
