Troy Lynn Brien was born on December 29, 1949 in Pawnee Oklahoma to Lynn Brien and Donna Freeny. He passed from this life on Monday, June 2, 2014 in Tulsa Oklahoma having reached the age of 64 years, 5 months, and 4 days. He grew up in Pawnee and attended Pawnee Public Schools and graduated with the Class of 1968. During his younger years he loved to play baseball, and played for Pawnee High School and also the Legion League. He loved the outdoors, and enjoyed fishing, hunting, especially at the farm and on the Arkansas River, and spending time with family and friends. He attended Northern Oklahoma College for two years, and served in the National Guard. He worked at Pawnee Paint Body Shop for twenty-four years, and took over ownership for twenty years. Troy is survived by his parents, Lynn and Charlene Brien, and Donna Freeny and the late Corbin Freeny of Pawnee; Son, Scott Brien and his wife, Susan of Stillwater; Daughter, Jill Rademeyer and her husband, Rick of Tulsa; Grandchildren, Mariah and Kinsey Brien of Stillwater, and Ethan and Luke Rademeyer of Tulsa; Sister, Vicki Hershberger and her husband, Dusty of Aubumdale Florida. Plus a number of aunts, uncles, cousins, and many friends. Services will be held at 2:00 p.m., Wednesday, June 4, 2014 at the First Christian Church, Pawnee, Oklahoma with Rev. Tom Scott officiating. Interment will be at Masham Cemetery, Masham, Oklahoma. In lieu of flowers the family requests donations be made to the American Cancer Society, P. O. Box 22718, Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, 73123-1718.
