Virginia Kenyon Obituary Virginia Kenyon, 85 of Cleveland, Oklahoma, passed away October 27, 2011 at the OSU Medical Center, Tulsa, Oklahoma. Virginia was born March 30, 1926 at Coweta, Oklahoma to Roy and Bessie (Burress) Weaver. Virginia married Leonard E. Kenyon in 1975 and he preceded her in death July, 7, 1991. She lived in Hominy around 18 years, and then moved to Cleveland, Oklahoma. She had worked at Munsingwear in Hominy as a seamstress and at Cleveland Nursing Home; and was a fulltime homemaker. She loved to dance, play cards, crochet and sew. Virginia is survived by a son- Archie Smith of Skiatook, Oklahoma; two granddaughters- Amy and Angela; one sister- Velma Hughes and one nephew- C.D. "Pete" Hughes both of Cleveland, Oklahoma. She is preceded in death by her parents, husband and four brothers. Graveside Service was Tuesday, November 1, 2011 at 2:00 p.m. with David Kennedy officiating at the A.J. Powell Cemetery. Arrangements were made with Powell Funeral Home, Hominy, Oklahoma.
