Wanda Lee Mitts Obituary Wanda Lee Mitts, age 82, formerly of Hominy, Oklahoma passed away on December 7, 2011 at her son's residence in Magnolia, Texas. Wanda was born March 11, 1929 to David Harrison and Lois (Baker) Ammons in Wynona, Oklahoma. She lived in the Hominy and Pawhuska areas most of her life. Wanda was retired from the Pawhuska School System where she was a cafeteria cook. She was a member of the Calvary Baptist Church in Pawhuska. Wanda is survived by seven children- Lawrence Edgar Mitts of Hammond, Louisiana, Emmitt Mitts and Jimmy E. Mitts both of Claremore, Oklahoma, Billy Mitts and wife Bea of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, Barbara Sue Pearson and husband Prentis of Baton Rouge, Louisiana, Beverly Ann Davis and husband Greg of Kinsman, Ohio and William Edward Mitts and wife Tammy of Magnolia, Texas; fourteen grandchildren and fifteen great grandchildren; two sisters- Lois Gore of Bartlesville, Oklahoma and Lenora White of Pawhuska, Oklahoma. Graveside Service was Tuesday, December 13, 2011 at 11:00 A.M. at the A.J. Powell Cemetery Pavilion with Emmitt Mitts as speaker. Taped music was "Amazing Grave."
