Wanda Rose Butcher

Wanda Rose Butcher, 86 years, of Barnsdall, Oklahoma, was called home to be with her Lord on Saturday, April 21, 2018 with her family at her side.

Wanda was born to the late Ed and Jennie (Holloman) Montgomery in Wildhorse, Oklahoma, where she grew up and attended school. Wanda attended the First Assembly of God Church in Wynona, Oklahoma. She married Albert Butcher on November 15, 1947, though he passed away on February 22, 2014. She was a loving wife, mother and grandmother and will be truly missed.

Wanda is survived by: 3 sons: Albert Gene Butcher and his wife, June, of Cleveland, OK, Larry Butcher and his wife, Theresa Sue, of Boulanger, OK, and Darrell Butcher and his wife, Teresa, of Barnsdall, OK; 8 grandchildren and numerous great-grandchildren, great-great grandchildren, nieces, nephews and friends.

Wanda is preceded by: her husband, her parents, her granddaughter, Dana McKinney, her great-granddaughter Brittany Butcher and 10 siblings.

The funeral service was 2:00 PM, Wednesday, April 25, 2018 at the First Assembly of God Church in Wynona, Oklahoma with the Pastor David Downing officiating. Pallbearers were: Albert Gene "Cork" Butcher, Jr., Steven Surrell, Michael Surrell, Tyler Butcher, Colton Butcher and Wes Butcher. Honorary pallbearer was Don Lane. Burial followed at A. J. Powell Memorial Cemetery in Hominy, Oklahoma.
