William "Bill" Randall III Obituary William "Bill" B. Randall III, age 66, of Terlton, Oklahoma passed away August 1, 2011 at St. John's Hospital, Tulsa, Oklahoma. Bill was born October 14, 1944 at Tulsa, Oklahoma to William Benjamin II and Velma (Smithy) Randall. Bill married Shirley Ann Redman on June 7, 1998 at Eureka Springs, Arkansas. Bill had retired after 20 years in the Navy serving during the Vietnam War. He earned several medals and awards while serving: the Master at Arms for 7 years and 11 months, Special Instructor for 5 years, received 4 Gold Medals, Good Conduct Medal; 4 awards: National Defense Service Medal, Sea Service Ribbon, Rifle and Pistol Expert. He worked at Tulsa County Police Department, and after that worked 22 years as Captain at the Dick Conner Correctional Center, he was in charge of the Cert Team, retired from there and was working as a Security Officer for the Federal Courthouse in Tulsa. Bill attended the Cowboy Church at Yale, Oklahoma and was a member of the VFW. Bill is survived by his wife Shirley of the home; 5 children: William "Bill" Randall IV and wife Stephanie, Lucy Dryden, Michael J. Randall, Dionne Toliusis and Marcus Mooney; 11 grandchildren and several great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents. Memorial Service for Bill will be Monday, August 8, 2011 at 12:15 p.m. at the Hominy City Lake with Pastor Carl Brown officiating. The service will be at Daniel Owens' lake lot dock #43. Music for the service will be taped: "How Great Thou Art" sung by Elvis Presley. There will be a Military Service with the VFW Honor Guard District #5 Rifle Team. Arrangements were made with Powell Funeral Home, Hominy, Oklahoma.
