William Levi Lefthand

William Levi Lefthand was born on February 6, 1943 in Pawnee, Oklahoma to Samuel Lefthand and Emma Young Lefthand, and was raised by his Aunt Nettie and Uncle Sam Young. He passed from this life on Tuesday, October 9, 2012 in Okmulgee, Oklahoma having reached the age of 69 years, 8 months, and 3 days. He moved to Okmulgee approximately twenty-five years ago, and enjoyed Indian beadwork, collecting eagles, buffalos, and wolves, and enjoyed spending time with his grandchildren. William is survived by: Spouse:Georganna Cunningham, Okmulgee, Oklahoma Stepson:John Cunningham & his wife, Melissa, Okmulgee, Oklahoma Grandchildren:Kitty, Jason, Stephanie, Ashley, Kingsly, DeAnna, Kattie & CJ Brothers:Phillip Lefthand, Red Rock, Oklahoma Ted Lefthand, Tulsa, Oklahoma Plus a number of other relatives, and many friends. William was preceded in death by his parents, Samuel and Emma Lefthand; Aunt Nettie and Uncle Sam Young; and two brothers, Francis and Sherman Lefthand. Graveside service will be held at 2:00 p.m., Friday, October 12, 2012 at Chaui Cemetery, Pawnee, Oklahoma, under the direction of Poteet Funeral Home, Pawnee, Oklahoma.
